New Zealand music party
Was at mr_orgue and Jess' New Zealand Music Party last night. Was a real good time. Took along some fruit and Sangria – supplemented by sugar and red wine it lasted most of the party. mr_orgue even played Crowded House's Instinct as "a special request for Gregor's 13th birthday tonight". LOL. I wish I was at those sorts of parties when I was 13.

rpgactionfigure was "DJ", which mostly seemed to consist of fading between the two CDs, smoothly, and at the appropriate moment.

Anyway, cool people, good time and a nice walk down the road with ubiquitous_cat to end the night. He's a shark – and as he wandered off into deeper water I swear I could see him swinging his dorsal fin from side-to-side.

Got in the house and listened to Reggie Hunt's Roughriders on CKRM (Canadian radio). They cuffed the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at Regina's Taylor Field. 42-15 to open the season. Go Riders! Then to bed at about 6am.

Now to go out and get a milkshake.
